Antique Glass Seal “MEAETH TO IIAN”

A beautiful antique seal set in 14 karat gold and inscribed on the front with MEAETH TO IIAN which I have not been able to find a translation for. It’s possible it was a gift between two people and Meaeth and Iian are names but I beleive it’s Gaelic. this seal is made of beautiful deep caramel glass and it measures 18mm wide by 20mm tall. since it is a seal, the letters are backwards when you look at them from the front. For the purposes of my images, I have reversed the picture with the words to make it legible.
