exquisite heart shaped match safe heavily engraved on both sides and lined in gold plating, on a permanent chain with a modern lobster clasp. The front has an area that can be engraved with initials and the rest of the engraving is a foliate motif. The lid closure is very strong, and the piece is hallmarked with English marks. The heart measures one and 3/4 inches long by 1 1/2 inches wide and the entire piece including chain weight 22.92 g. the entire necklace measures 19.5”
