Victorian European Silver Bookchain with Stars

A lovely Victorian small book chain necklace with a chunky spring ring for holding charms. The necklace measures 16 1/2 inches including the clasp. It was gold plated, but a lot of the plating has come off giving it a lovely antique patina. It is European (800) silver. Each link has two little stars on either side. The necklace weighs 16.77 g.
